Mark Lincoln, Pastor
On September, 18, 1969, Mark Lincoln was born and raised on a farm in Dewitt, Iowa. After communing with cows and pigs for 18 years, Mark learned from his born-again brother that there is more to Christianity than liturgical ritual and duty. Through a series of intense discussions, Mark came to know Christ in a deeply personal way.
This marked the beginning of a new life for Mark. Areas of his high school life that were once important to him, like sports, future career, and social standing, paled against the “realness” of the Gospel. Having planned to go to the University of Iowa, he instead went to Master’s Bible College in California in order to satisfy his now intense hunger for the Word of God. During his time at Master’s, God began to call Mark to the ministry, encouraging him through colleagues and staff. Upon graduation, Mark proceeded to Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, but not before, Diana Edamora, also a student at Masters, snagged and married him. In 1995, Mark graduated and was called to Christ Community Bible Church (CCBC) in Los Alamos, where he established himself as a uncompromising preacher of the Word.
